Quite a few new things since the last update. There are two brand new pages, more reliable accounting connections, and a long list of smaller fixes. Here's the rundown.
New Features
Minifig Match
There's a brand new tool called Minifig Match. You upload a BSX file with your loose parts and it shows you which minifigures you can build from the parts you already have in stock.
For every match you also get a price guide from BrickLink, so you can see:
- The current prices
- The average sale price
- The lowest and highest prices
- How sales have trended over the past months
For very large inventories the price guide is skipped automatically (the matching still runs), so you don't run into BrickLink's daily lookup limits. Minifig Match is available to everyone.
New Reports page
There's a new Reports page that gives you a quick financial overview per currency. You'll see your revenue, margin, shipping, handling, total, and costs at a glance.
You also get a monthly revenue chart and a revenue-per-country table that's handy for your OSS/IOSS bookkeeping. Pick any period you want (this or last month, quarter, year, or a custom range) and switch between amounts with or without VAT. All your orders are included, whether or not they've been synced.
Connections that stay connected
Some accounting connections (Dinero, QuickBooks and Pennylane) could quietly drop during a quiet period, which led to a failed sync later on. BrickInvoice now keeps these connections alive automatically in the background.
And if a connection ever does need to be set up again, there's a new Reauthorize button. You can reconnect without losing any of your settings.
Margin scheme: recognize used items automatically
There's a new way to apply the margin scheme, based on the condition of an item. BrickInvoice can now automatically tell used items apart from new ones using the condition from BrickLink and Brick Owl, so you no longer have to set up remark patterns yourself.
Your orders table remembers your layout
The orders table now remembers which columns you show, hide, or pin. Set it up the way you like and it'll look the same the next time you open it.
Required fields on the accounting forms
All accounting setup forms now mark the required fields, so you can't accidentally save an incomplete configuration. This prevents errors during the accounting sync that used to happen when a field was left empty.
Improvements
Transaction fees keep retrying
Transaction fees from Stripe and PayPal aren't always available right away. It can sometimes take a few days before they show up. BrickInvoice now keeps checking automatically for a couple of days. You'll get a heads-up when a fee isn't available yet, and another note once it's found, so a fee that simply arrives late no longer turns into an error.
Informer: VAT straight from your ledger
For Informer, the correct VAT rate is now taken automatically from the ledger you selected, so you don't have to set it manually anymore. Shipping and handling can each use their own ledger account for domestic, EU, and export orders.
Faster syncs
We've made some changes under the hood that make syncing run quite a bit faster, especially if you have a lot of orders excluded from syncing.
Bug Fixes
Correct fees for orders paid in another currency
When a BrickLink order is paid in a different currency than your store currency, the transaction fee is now matched correctly using the right amount and currency.
Lexware: no more mixed-up contacts
Two different buyers who happened to share the same name could end up merged into one Lexware contact, which linked the invoice to the wrong person. They're now kept separate.
Dinero: settings kept when reconnecting
Your credentials are no longer lost when the connection refreshes in the background, and connecting is more robust against temporary network hiccups.
Other fixes
Fixed a validation issue with e-Boekhouden and improved the detection of a shared Stripe account used for both BrickLink and Brick Owl.
