NewFor sellers on both shops

One stock forBrickLink and Brick Owl

Two shops, one stock, and keeping both right by hand goes wrong sooner or later. BrickInvoice follows your orders and keeps the quantities on both shops in step, from our servers, so it keeps working while your computer is off.

How it works

From two separate shops to one stock in four steps.

1
Connect both shops

Connect your BrickLink and Brick Owl accounts with your own keys. Orders come in on the free plan already.

2
Import your stock

BrickInvoice reads your inventory from the shop you choose and matches every lot to its counterpart on the other shop. It changes nothing while it reads.

3
Check the report, start the sync

You see what matched and what did not, and approve it. Only then do you press Start sync, which also starts your free trial.

4
Review what differs

When a lot changes on a shop outside BrickInvoice, you see it in Review and decide what happens. Nothing is taken over or reset silently.

Inventory sync

What it does for you. Quantities follow your orders, and you can see why every change happened.

Sales on one shop, stock on both
When a lot sells on BrickLink, the same lot on Brick Owl goes down too, and the other way around. Orders are picked up about every 15 minutes and the change is sent right away.
Runs on our servers
Your stock stays in sync while your computer is off. There is no program to keep running and nothing to install.
Every change explained
Open any line in your activity log to see the lots it touched, by how many pieces, why, and whether the shop has accepted it.
Parts that are not on Brick Owl
BrickLink knows more items than Brick Owl. Those lots stay on BrickLink, are counted and shown in gray, and never hold up the rest of your stock.
Also the second half of your day
Pick lists sorted by location and a shipping screen come with every paid plan, so the orders that lower your stock are the orders you pack.
Built to be safe
Stock is the one thing where a mistake costs you a sale, so the sync is careful.
  • A safety brake stops a run that would change an unusual share of your stock, and asks you first
  • Nothing is reset behind your back: edits you make on a shop go to Review
  • After a shop has been down, the orders you missed are booked in order, and the stock follows
  • If a shop is unreachable or its daily limit is reached, changes wait and go through when it answers again
  • There is no pause button: to stop the sync, remove a connection
What it does not do yet
This first release keeps your quantities in step. We prefer to say what is still to come.
  • Prices and other lot fields are not synced yet: it is quantities only, coming later
  • You add new stock on the shop your stock came from, and add it to BrickInvoice in Review. Entering new lots in BrickInvoice itself is coming
  • Feedback to your buyers is coming
  • Two buyers can still buy the last piece of a part in the same second, on two shops. No sync can prevent that; you see it at once, with everything you need to solve it

Questions sellers ask

What is inventory sync, and who is it for?
Inventory sync keeps the quantities of your BrickLink and Brick Owl stock in step: when a lot sells on one shop, the same lot goes down on the other. It is for sellers on both shops. If you sell on one shop only, you do not need it, and your accounting sync works the same as before.
What if a part doesn't exist on Brick Owl?
That happens: BrickLink knows more items than Brick Owl. Those lots stay on BrickLink only. We count them and show them in gray, and the rest of your stock synchronizes as usual. Every week we check again, because Brick Owl adds items.
What happens if I change something in BrickLink myself?
You see it in Review, and you decide what happens with it. BrickInvoice does not take over or reset your edit silently.
Can I still oversell?
Rarely. Two buyers can still buy the last piece of a part in the same second on two different shops, and no sync can prevent that. When it happens you see it right away, with everything you need to solve it.
Where do I add new stock?
In this first release you add new lots on the shop your stock came from. BrickInvoice picks them up and you add them to BrickInvoice in Review. Putting them on your other shop as well, entering new lots in BrickInvoice itself, or with a BrickStore file, is coming.
What happens when BrickLink or Brick Owl is down?
Changes for that shop wait and go through automatically when it answers again, and you see a message in your activity log. The orders you missed in the meantime are booked in order of the time they were placed, and the stock follows. If a shop reaches its daily limit, the same happens: changes resume when the limit resets.
Can I pause inventory sync?
There is no pause button, on purpose: a half-paused sync is how two shops drift apart. To stop the sync, remove a connection. BrickInvoice first collects the last orders of both shops and sends what is still waiting, and then stops. The stock stays as it is on both shops.
Does inventory sync run when my computer is off?
Yes. It runs on our servers, so there is nothing to keep open. Orders are picked up about every 15 minutes.
