Feature Descriptions

Customer Sync

Automatically creates or updates customer records in your accounting software based on BrickLink and BrickOwl order data. BrickInvoice uses the marketplace username as a unique reference to prevent duplicate customer entries.

What's synced:

  • Customer name and contact information
  • Shipping and billing addresses
  • Marketplace username as reference

Invoice Sync

Generates complete invoices in your accounting software with accurate amounts, tax calculations, and proper ledger entries. Each invoice includes separate line items for different tax treatments.

What's synced:

  • Invoice with structured line items:
    • Margin scheme products (if applicable)
    • VAT products
    • Handling fees
    • Shipping costs
  • Accurate VAT calculations based on customer location
  • General ledger account mappings
  • Invoice reference linked to marketplace order

Payment Registration

Automatically registers Stripe and PayPal payments against invoices when orders are synced. This means invoices are immediately marked as paid with the correct payment method and reference.

Supported payment methods:

  • Stripe payments
  • PayPal payments

Payment reference format: Payment {source}_{order_number}

  • Example: Payment bricklink_12345678

Configuration:

  • Enable per payment method (Stripe/PayPal)
  • Configure financial accounts per marketplace (BrickLink/BrickOwl)

Note: Other payment methods (bank transfer, cash, etc.) are not automatically registered and need to be marked as paid manually in your accounting software.

PayPal Fee Sync

Automatically registers PayPal transaction fees as expenses in your accounting software. Fees are categorized per marketplace (BrickLink/BrickOwl) for accurate financial reconciliation.

Fee reference format: PayPal fee {source}_{order_number}

  • Example: PayPal fee bricklink_12345678

Configuration:

  • Enable PayPal fee sync in your accounting configuration
  • Connect your PayPal account
  • Configure financial and expense ledger accounts per marketplace

Benefits:

  • Accurate fee tracking per marketplace
  • Automatic expense categorization
  • No manual fee entry required
  • Proper financial reconciliation
